Lip filler was also performed for lip enhancement as a bonus, but the take home is midface enhancement. The cheeks, immediately after injections, are typically higher, swollen, and sharper in appearance. Over the course of the next 2 weeks to a month, this will soften while still creating a harmonious lower face. Typically, less correction is needed in the lower face once the midface is corrected.
