Our first time Nativiti mommas are rocking their births like pros. So blessed to be part of their journeys.

I guess I wasn't quite finished for November. I am loving working with Nativiti Family Birth Center. This first time momma rocked her labor. Her little one was pretty tall like her Daddy.

It has been such a blessing to have Jaelin and Zui as part of the midwife team taking care of our clients. Love all these sweet families … although these babies all decided to come on Jaelin’s watch. ♥️

It was wonderful to share space with so many birth workers (and my good friend and colleague Jaelin) who want to learn more about vaginal breech birth so that we can offer birthing women options other than cesarean for breech and twin births.

Soooo important. Glad it has been our standard of care for our entire 30 years in business.

The 2025 Cochrane review on immediate and early skin-to-skin contact after birth highlights that further randomized controlled trials comparing skin-to-skin contact with ‘usual care’ are no longer ethical.

The findings show there is now enough evidence to make immediate skin-to-skin contact after birth the global standard of care, and as WHO already recommends skin-to-skin the standard of care, the authors argue that randomizing the separation of mother and newborn may no longer be justifiable.
