We had reached that moment all new parents have heard about: Teething. It was messy, and tiring, and emotional— for all of us. You hate to see your sweet baby in pain, but you’re hesitant to use over the counter pain relievers… Does this sound like you? Yep, us too!
Our first son, CJ, was about 3 months old, covered in drool, and in some pain from teething. We had heard about baltic amber teething necklaces and decided to give it a try. Not even 12 hours later we saw not only a huge reduction in his drool, but he was back to his happy, cheerful pain-free self! It was amazing, and we were convinced this wasn’t just some weird voo-doo necklace (did you’re husband think this too?! Haha) but it actually worked!
Cody served in the Army for over 4 years and deployed twice. On his last deployment he suffered a knee injury and had throbbing, burning pain in his knee ever since. He would frequently take pain medication when it seemed to be abnormally painful, but most of the time he pushed through. After seeing what the baltic amber did for our son, we decided to try it on Cody’s knee and see if he would have the same results. After a lot of prayer and discussion, we decided to open MacRae Naturals in December of 2013, and offer beautiful, hand-crafted baltic amber and crystal jewelry for all ages! Our jewelry isn’t just for little ones— mom, dad, grandpa, and grandma can benefit, too! We pride ourselves in being a christ-centered, family-owned business that supports fellow stay at home moms and students through our local beading program.
