In midlife (and really any age), it can feel overwhelming to try to eat enough protein and fiber every day.

I get it…but it’s not that hard and if you do it long enough, it will eventually become second nature

Ideally, aim for a minimum of 100-130g of protein and 30-35 g of fiber each day.

A few pro tips:
💡Meal prep on your days off; cook a few different proteins and tons of veggies.
💡Keep your meals simple.
💡Don’t eat foods you don’t like.
💡When making meals, always ask, “How can I add more protein and fiber to this meal?”
💡Add more plants to your plate.
💡Sprinkle h**p, chia, or flax seeds on your food.
💡Have some go-to options for when you’re running out the door. For me, it’s low fat mozzarella cheese sticks, protein cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, plant-based protein shakes, and almonds. Not perfect but it keeps me on target for my goals.

What are some tips and tricks that help you eat enough protein and fiber each day?

Fiber improves gut health, which in turn, improves immune function.

For improved immunity, heart, health, blood sugar regulation, and satiety, aim for 30 to 35 g of fiber every single day.

🎯 This meal has about 27 g of protein and 15 g of fiber.

Start you day off strong with a high fiber breakfast!

Three common questions re: micronized oral progesterone:

1) Can I take it if I don’t have a uterus?

2) Can I take it if I have an IUD?

3) Can I take it alone?

And the answer to all three is, yes. It’s not the same as synthetic progestin. Micronized oral progesterone is very safe and has many benefits in perimenopause and menopause-including improved sleep, mood, decreased anxiety, and it can act as a natural diuretic since it helps balance Estrogen.

Yes, the toxins can actually recirculate into your blood 🤯

It’s nearly impossible to have balanced hormones If you’re not pooping every day.

Chronic constipation allows your body to recirculate inflammatory waste products back into your blood stream which can then serve as endocrine, disruptors, leading to lots of chronic symptoms including fatigue, bloating, gastric reflux, brain fog and even migraine headaches.

Aim for 30-35 grams daily for 30 days and see if your health improves! You’ll likely notice improved digestion, better blood sugar control, and fewer cravings!
