✨What are your health goals for this month? ✨

❄️I want to be intentional and get outside for a least one workout a week. I hate the cold, so tend to trap myself inside during the month of January. I know how much getting fresh air and being in nature helps my overall health, so I’m setting a goal of at least one outdoor workout per week.

🍷I’ve never participated in “Dry January” but this year it feels like the right fit for me. I’m cutting alcohol and added sugar as a start-of-the-year reset.

🧘2025 was a hard year in a lot of ways—I know I need to focus on stress management to start this new year. Every day, I’ll make sure I’m engaging in one anti-stress activity.

🥵I haven’t been as consistent with taking saunas, so I added that to this month’s health goals to help me build the habit back into my weekly routine.

✨If you haven’t thought about health goals, I encourage you to take a minute to jot a few down for the month. Your health is your more valuable asset—it deserves your time and intention. ✨

December often brings extra stress, so I try to be intentional with how I approach my health. Enjoying the holiday season with people I love is important to me, and I’m not healthy if I’m merely surviving or living each day in chaotic state. I let that knowledge guide my decisions, how I spend my time, and on what I choose to focus.

5 years today without my mom. 💔 Grief isn’t linear and it doesn’t really ever leave you. I’m missing her more than ever, but I honor her legacy through my work here on Happy Healthy Mama. It was her initial diagnosis of stage IV metastatic cancer that set me on a journey of learning all I could about healthy living, and later, when the treatments that cured her of cancer ultimately stole her health, it opened my eyes to the need to look deeper into healthcare and learn to ask questions. ❤️Miss you, Mom. Thanks for showing up in my dreams when I need you. ❤️
