🚨NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT APPRECIATION DAY🚨

For the first time in over 80 years, 2025 saw numbers Below 100 for in the line of duty officer deaths. This is attributed to many different external factors and we're grateful for every single one. As a professional in the field, I never thought this would be something I would see in my lifetime. So today, we recognize the men and women who put service above self—showing up day after day to protect, serve, and support our communities, often under immense pressure and scrutiny. Your commitment, resilience, and sacrifice do not go unnoticed. Thank you for the long hours, the difficult decisions, and the dedication it takes to keep others safe. We appreciate you today and every day. 💙🖤

On Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we honor the resilience it takes to serve, the integrity it takes to lead with ethics, and the strength it takes to keep going in the face of adversity. New year. Same mission—protecting those who give their all protect us. First responder mental health matters every day, through every single shift, not just in crisis. Here’s to a year of strength, support, learning and taking care of the mind behind the uniform 💙

As a team at Heroes Behind the Line, we continue to research, explore and develop new resources to help meet each first responder exactly where they are. We assisted with returning over 60 first responders to duty this past year, and we continue to expand in growing that number. We remain whole heartedly dedicated to this mission.

The impact we were able to make this year was truly incredible. The amount of first responders we were able to healthily return to duty was remarkable. We are truly indebted and forever grateful for every donation receive, every bag of coffee or tshirt bought. Your donations help us continue that mission and we are gearing up for our biggest year yet in 2026! 💙

Powered entirely by community donations, you all made our impact this year possible. In 2025:

• More than 60 (SIXTY!) first responders were supported with free counseling services by licensed professionals 🙌🏽
• We were able to attend eight community events, three of which were charitable in nature ⛳️
• Members of our team spoke and amplified our cause at three different conferences (and one of those conferences was in Mississippi!) 🤩
• Several departments and organizations opened their doors for us to engage in mental health/wellness discussions 🧠
• Countless first responders were provided with on-call, specialized, and culturally competent peer support when it mattered most ❤️‍🩹

🇺🇸UPDATES from your crazy therapist 🇺🇸

The craziness that is my life, has come full speed the last month and I just wanted to update everyone all at once! I am still working full time and promise to get everyone in as quickly as possible 🙏 I have not had to cut hours as yet, however, we are back to waitlist on in office appointments as of today. I am so so sorry! Please still continue to reach out and we can keep you updated on the waitlist, still a few open spots on Zoom.

As of a month ago, I am now a Doctoral student at Tiffin University, which will require me to travel and be out of office more than I usually am at times. I am making strong attempts to handle this as gracefully as possible, as well as causing minimal disruption to you. Pursuing this degree will help me widen my services and continue to stay in the good fight with you. Because of this, I will no longer be taking court ordered or court involved cases until September 2027. I am finishing the ones I am currently involved in, and will continue to serve you to the best of my abilities, as always. This decision did not come lightly as I know the struggles that are faced with finding therapists to go to court, but the last minute subpoenas demanding me to be out of office for multiple days is becoming disrespectful to my personal schedule and my schedule with other clients. If you have a question or concern on this, please reach out. I will also be limiting speaking engagements throughout the year to limit time I'm away from clients. 🙃

I am full blown in the new building and back to business as regularly scheduled. This is the updates for now, I know there are times that it's hard to get in touch with me, please just be patient with me, I am doing my best to address each and every one of you as quickly I humanly possibly can. I just have more people now demanding my attention and we're all this together!

My appreciation and gratitude for your continued support is unwavering and I can't express what it means to be that you instill your trust in me as your therapist. Please be patient with me as I stand strong with you. If there are any concerns at any time, please feel free to reach out! 📣FINALLY ANNOUNCING📣

EFFECTIVE MONDAY, JULY 28, 2025, I will be moving to my new office at 2964 W Huntsville Ave, Suite C2, Springdale, AR. This has been anticipated for the past couple months but we are finally here! I will be working in my current office the rest of this week and making the switch starting next Monday. If you have any issues or questions, please reach out! 🚨THE SECOND TIME HAS COME🚨

I wish this was going to be what my view looks like for the next week but unfortunately, I won't be able to see any view! I am finally and officially out of office for the second eye surgery! I will not be able to look at any electronics for approximately the next 4-5 days, which means if you are emailing or texting, I will not be able to read the messages. So glad to finally be back on full regular schedule this week! Surgery went as planned but took a couple extra days to heal. Blurriness is still a big struggle but we are slowly but surely getting there. I believe I have caught back up with messages and calls, but if I have missed your message, please send me another text/call/email!
