YEP!!♥️

Babies don’t need iPads. They need parents.

We’ve normalized sticking a screen in front of little ones to keep them quiet. To give us a break. To make life easier.

But babies weren’t designed to learn from pixels.
They were designed to learn from people.

From the sound of their mom’s voice.
From the look in their dad’s eyes.
From human touch, human interaction, and the real world right in front of them.

An iPad can entertain.
But it can’t nurture.
It can’t teach patience.
It can’t give safety, love, or connection.

That’s our job.

Because one day, these babies will grow up into kids who know how to either run to a screen… or run to their parents.

And I want mine to know
no device will ever replace the presence of mom and dad. ❤️

I am usually suspicious of reviews that rave about something - I suspect they are not quite true. So I have spent days trying to figure out how to write this review honestly without over praising… and I don’t think I can. The truth is my experience with Dolly is the best experience with a medical professional I have ever had. We had a complex case that took over 12 weeks to resolve. If I had not worked with Dolly I am 100% sure I would not still be breastfeeding. The fact that I am now successful is nothing short of a miracle and a testament to Dolly’s work and expertise.

This time was one of the most vulnerable times of my life and Dolly was unendingly kind, supportive, and caring. She had to tell us several devastating things but throughout it she prioritized my needs and emotions. I remember telling my husband that I was so impressed with how she was very clearly an expert (almost 30 years experience with over 25,000 mamas!) and was incredibly connected to facts (not social media trends) and yet I felt like wayyy more than a patient to her. Even when I didn’t want to prioritize my health or needs she insisted. There was a perfect combination of a confident professional with a sensitive and nurturing helper. She responded to me day and night helping me with my first time mama questions even when they were not related to breastfeeding. I am so sure I only feel as confident as I do as a mother because of her support. I seriously lost count of the amount of times we wondered if Dolly was right about something only to find out she absolutely was, even more than our pediatrician, our pediatric dentist, or our occupational therapist. She truly truly knows what she is talking about and I have never regretted following her recommendations. Working with her felt divinely orchestrated. I literally CANNOT recommend her enough.

If you are looking for a lactation consultant, I have never been more confident in a recommendation. Dolly’s help was LITERALLY priceless to us. With her you’re in great hands!

Proud parents just texted me…

Hi Dolly! Keeley just had her 4 month appointment this morning and we thought you’d like to see her weight graph from the pediatrician. Her tongue tie release was just a couple days after her 2 month appointment for reference.

We can’t thank you enough for educating us on her tongue tie and supporting us through the decision and procedure. Her graph looks like this because of you and how awesome you are!💖

A nursing strike is a real thing, it can happen to any nursing mother!!! A nursing strike is when baby abruptly stops breastfeeding. It can happen due to illness, busy home, teething or other things. It can last days. Baby is using the thing he loves the most to show mom how much he needs her. It is very hard on the mother. It is a mother’s love, patience, lots of carrying, sometimes bottle feeding / pumping and the understanding of what is happening that will help mom and baby breastfeed again❤️♥️❤️

Knowledge, support and prayer help this loving dyad to go back to each other in less than 48 hours! 😍
