Our Story

For over 100 years Emerson Monument Company has served thousands of families with an unwavering commitment to craftsmanship, quality and customer service.

Emerson Monument Company is locally owned and operated by Scott and Alison Raymer, who are well-respected throughout the memorialization industry. Their involvement in and contributions to the Monument Builders of North America, the Funeral and Memorial Information Council and the National Concrete Burial Vault Association, have established them as leaders in the death care industry.

In 2015, Alison Raymer accomplished the highly regarded designation of Certified Memorialist. As the only Certified Memorialist in the State of Arkansas, she is Arkansas’ leading expert in monuments and memorialization.

As a family run business you may occasionally see their daughters working in the office after school and will likely find the dog snoozing under Alison’s desk. The family lives in Springdale, AR, where they enjoy frequenting the local bike trails, parks and businesses.
