Tami Faye Murray
November 2, 1972 - September 10, 2025

Tami Faye Murray, age 52, passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2025 in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born November 2, 1972 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Bobby N. Temple Sr & Alma Lynne Forgey. She was preceded in death by her parents; fiance, Doug O’Connor, & Best Friend / Guardian Angel, Wayne Woodside.

Tami is survived by her five daughters, Kayla Temple-Carney, Amber Temple, Sara Murray, Lacey Murray, & Lindsey Shipman; two sons, Augustus Murray & Woodrow Murray-Wood; niece, Brandy Temple; nephew, Darrell Temple; 24 grand babies; her fur baby, Baby; & lifelong friend & father of 2 children, Alton Murray.

Tami worked as a CNA, Cosmetologist, & Housekeeper. If you knew Tami, you knew that she lived, loved, & danced hard. She was always down for an adventure & always the life & laughter of every get together. She enjoyed spending time outdoors whether that be hunting, camping, kayaking, swimming, or attempting to wake surf & giving us the best wipeout videos. She also enjoyed laughing & making people laugh, breaking out in dances, singing, spending time with her “grandbabies”, & an outrageous amount of the “chocolate jar” from Slim Chickens. If we take anything from her in this life, it’s to live life being unapologetically yourself. Her final act of love was the ultimate gift - becoming an organ donor, so that others might live through her selfless legacy.

Tami was many things: a daughter, mother, sister, “mawmaw”, spouse, friend, & follower of Christ. She will be missed by many & we look forward to the day we are reunited & enjoying gumbo & dance parties in heaven.

In the wise words of Tami, we leave you with this:

“She’s beauty, she’s grace… she will punch you in the face”.

Condolences can be sent to Tami's family at the link below.

Roger Allen O’Mara
November 30, 1953 – September 14, 2025

Roger Allen O’Mara passed peacefully in his sleep on September 14, 2025, at his son’s home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was surrounded by the love of his family, after a long and courageous battle with illness.

Roger was born on November 30, 1953, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Dr. William Davis O’Mara and Mary Bonnen O’Mara, who welcomed him into a large close-knit family. He is now reunited with his loving parents in eternal rest.

He is survived by his devoted only son, Christopher O’Mara, and Christopher’s wife, Michelle; his two beloved grandchildren, Christopher Liam and Robin Abbey O’Mara, who were his heart’s joy; Seven beloved siblings celebrate Roger’s life including his sisters, Patsy O’Mara and Marty Yarbrough of Springdale; his brothers, Mike O’Mara (Glenanna) of Cedarville, Jim O’Mara (Lottie) of Bella Vista, Ralph O’Mara (Connie) of Springdale, Andy O’Mara of Beebe, and Dan O’Mara (Sheila) of Columbia, South Carolina; as well as nineteen treasured nieces and nephews. Each will carry his memory with them always.

Roger’s life was marked by generosity, devotion, and service to others. He never hesitated to lend a hand when someone was in need. As a single father, he gave his heart and soul to raising his son. When no one else volunteered, he stepped up to coach his son’s elementary soccer team, the Orange Bombers, even though he had never played soccer before. He just bought a book and learned the rules. In his later years, his greatest joy came from being “Grandpa.” He visited 3 times each week, happily sitting on the floor to play with his grandchildren for hours. He would say “That’s just what grandpas do.”

Roger also had many talents and passions. He was a skilled woodworker whose craftsmanship reflected his patience and pride in detail. During his career, he co-owned Apple Concrete in Fayetteville, where he built a reputation for honesty, hard work, and dedication. He was a hard worker and an early riser. In quiet moments, he enjoyed crossword puzzles and was an avid reader, always eager to challenge his mind and learn something new. His life was a job well done.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Aunt Jean Anne Faires for her love, support, and devotion to the entire family throughout this journey. Her support, late night therapy sessions and selflessness will forever be treasured. A very special thank you to the Backus family for their amazing acts of support. They also extend heartfelt thanks to Washington Regional Hospice, Highlands Oncology, and Walker Heart Clinic for their care, compassion, and guidance.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to support children’s programming at Mount Sequoyah: Mount Sequoyah Community.

Roger’s legacy is one of love, service, family, and faithfulness. His memory will live on in the countless lives he touched, and in the hearts of the grandchildren who adored him.

“Thanks to you, I’m much obliged. It was such a pleasant stay. But now it’s time for me to go, the autumn moon lights my way.” -Led Zeppelin

Tommy Ernest Walker
August 30, 1948 - September 10, 2025

Tommy Walker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, 77, of Springdale, AR, passed away on September 10, 2025. His wife and daughter were by his side at the end.

He was born on August 30, 1948, to Vivian and Ernest Walker in Fayetteville, AR.

Tommy graduated from Springdale High School in 1966, then went on to earn a degree from the University of Arkansas and a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the UAMS College of Medicine.

He worked as a pharmacist in Missouri, Mississippi, and finally, his hometown of Springdale until he retired. Customers at his pharmacies knew him as a kind, caring, joking presence, and his knowledge of medications was unmatched.

He married Carol (née Brown) on June 3, 1982. They welcomed daughter Whitney in 1983. Tommy and Carol enjoyed 43 years of marriage.

Tommy loved reading (Dune was a favorite series, along with John LeCarre novels), movies (his sense of humor was inspired by the likes of Mel Brooks and Monty Python), and classic music (he worshipped Bob Dylan, Levon Helms, and Janis Joplin). He never cared much about sports until Carol dragged him to a baseball game; then he read a book about baseball rules and became the biggest fan of local minor league team The Naturals. Always a big tech and computer geek, in later life he was never seen without the latest Apple product and would happily chat with anyone about the latest features. He also loved his pets throughout the years, especially his last dog, Crystal.

More than anything, he loved his family, and was the most deeply devoted husband, father, and grandfather. One of the biggest joys in his life was being Baba to his grandson Tristan.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; his daughter, Whitney (Ian) Nuber; his grandson, Tristan Nuber; his brother, Danny Walker; his brother, Jimmy (Laurie Harris) Walker; his sister, Carol (Dennis) Caudle; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
