š May is Maternal Mental Health Month š
Caring for a child with special needs is a journey of love, strengthāand often, overwhelming stress.
š Nearly 60% of mothers of children with special needs report symptoms of depression or anxiety.
Yet, over half struggle to access mental health care due to time, cost, or lack of specialized support.
These moms often put their own well-being last while navigating therapies, appointments, advocacy, and caregiving around the clock. Their resilience is incredibleābut they deserve support, too.
š§ Mental health care is not optional. It's essential.
š¬ This month, letās raise our voices for better access, more resources, and compassionate care for these incredible mothers.
