We had a wonderful time at the Elevate Her: All Day Women’s Health and Wellness Summit! It was such a great opportunity to connect with attendees, share information about our services, and be part of a day focused on health, education, and empowerment.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit with us—we truly enjoyed the conversations and the chance to learn more about your needs. We’re grateful to be part of a community that values support for women at every stage of life.

UPDATE: OUR PARAKEETS HAVE FOUND A NEW HOME!

Parakeet Parade!
Homes needed for these colorful cuties.
We’re helping rehome a hospice patient’s flock of parakeets, and let me tell you, this little bird family is FULL of charm, chirps, and personality. If you’ve ever wanted your home to feel like a tiny tropical vacation, this is the moment.

Meet the Flock – Parakeets are deeply social, emotionally sensitive birds. When they form a bond, they rely on that for safety, comfort, and stability. Separating the bonds can cause distress, even grief. We’ve got a few different pairs looking for their happily-ever-after.

The Lovebirds (aka Mom and Dad)
This bonded duo just finished raising three brand-new babies. They’re a team, they’re adorable, and they absolutely insist on staying together. Non-negotiable.

The Dynamic Duo (Two Adult Besties)
These two grown-ups are basically the bird version of roommates who actually get along. They chatter, they explore, they judge you lovingly from their perch. They also need to stay together.

The Baby Trio
Three tiny fluffballs who hatched about a month ago. They’re curious, sweet, and still figuring out life. They’ll need gentle humans who can help them grow into confident little chirpers.

Today is National Doctors’ Day, and we are grateful for the compassion and dedication our hospice physicians bring to the care of our patients and their families each day.

Thank you to Dr. Andrea Read, Dr. Connie Butler, Dr. Ashish Mathur, and Dr. Jason Tilley for the meaningful difference you make through your care. We are also thankful for the many community physicians who make rounds in our hospice homes and provide care in nursing facilities.

To all the doctors across Northwest Arkansas who partner with us—thank you for helping make quality end-of-life care possible for our community.

Jackie recently celebrated an incredible milestone—his 90th birthday—and we were honored to be part of such a meaningful day.

A former plumber, Jackie had one special wish: to use his skills one more time. We were grateful to welcome him to Circle of Life, where he jumped right in and repaired a broken shower cartridge like a true professional. It didn’t take long for his expertise to shine through—some skills never fade.

After a job well done, we celebrated Jackie with apple pie and ice cream, sharing stories, laughter, and a moment we won’t soon forget.

Happy 90th birthday, Jackie. Thank you for reminding us all of the joy that comes from purpose, passion, and doing what you love.

They support our patients and families with compassion, guidance, and care during some of life’s most challenging moments.

Employee Appreciation Week at Circle of Life gave us a chance to slow down and spend time together as a team. We celebrated with pizza and Handel’s ice cream—simple, delicious, and well deserved.

More than anything, it was about recognizing the people who make our work possible every day. The compassion, dedication, and teamwork our staff bring to patients and families do not go unnoticed.

We’re grateful for each of you and the difference you make in our community.

We’re honored to share that Circle of Life was recognized at the Best of NWA Gala for hospice care and personal care. This year is especially meaningful, as it marks the first time our home care services have been awarded.

It’s a privilege to serve our community in such important moments, and we’re grateful for the trust placed in us every day. Thank you to everyone who makes this work possible—our team, our partners, and the families we have the honor to care for.

We’re proud to be part of a community that values compassionate, high-quality care.

We are proud to have Ryan Langston, CFO at Circle of Life, step into this leadership role.

Congratulations to Ryan as he takes the lead, and thank you, Greg, for your leadership, service, and continued impact on hospice care in Arkansas.

Just over two months ago, Gregory A. Wood (pictured center) passed on his responsibility of leadership as HPCAA Board President to Ryan Langston (pictured left).

Greg, you led HPCAA with heart through a time of change. We are deeply grateful for all that you did (and are still doing) for hospice in Arkansas. Not only is Greg a hospice leader, but he's also a social worker, and we couldn't let Social Work Month pass without letting him know just how much we appreciate him!
