At Circle of Life, we recognize the deep cultural and emotional significance Mariachi music holds within the Hispanic community. Recently, Mariachi Joya Azteca of NW Arkansas visited a patient and their family at our hospice home, filling the space with familiar melodies that brought comfort, peace, and connection. We are grateful for the power of music to honor culture, uplift the spirit, and support families when it matters most.

One of the greatest honors we have is helping make meaningful moments possible for the patients we serve.

Recently, one of our patients, Tom, shared a simple but powerful wish — to fly one more time in a single-engine Cessna plane. With the help of our incredible community, that wish became a reality.

Special thanks to Legends Air Center at Thaden Field in Bentonville, along with our wonderful pilot, for making this unforgettable experience possible. We are also grateful to Good Shepherd Transportation for providing a smooth and caring ride to the airfield. We always appreciate our Angels Paying It Forward for providing the thoughtful support and generosity that made this wish a reality.

As a Navy veteran and former pilot, Tom was surrounded by family, fellow veterans, and Circle of Life staff, making the day truly unforgettable. It was a beautiful celebration filled with joy.

Thank you to everyone who helped Tom fly the friendly skies.

We’re looking for a new size of vases to add to our collection! 🌷

If you have any vases that are 5 to 5½ inches tall with a circumference of about 3 inches, we’d love to have them. These smaller vases are perfect for the arrangements our volunteers create for patients and families.

Donations can be dropped off at any Circle of Life location during regular business hours. Thank you for helping us bring beauty and comfort to those we serve. 💐

The Circle of Life staff and volunteers extend a heartfelt thank you to Mary Travis, a long-time volunteer, for generously providing today’s Holiday Lunch. Mary is truly a ray of sunshine and a devoted part of our volunteer family.

To add to the fun, our staff held a Holiday Bake-Off featuring their favorite seasonal desserts. Congratulations to Michael Starkey for his winning Lemon Raspberry Cake—earning him this year’s Golden Spoon Award!

This week, our hospice homes were filled with meaningful reflection during our annual Lights of Remembrance gatherings. Families, friends, and team members came together to honor the memory of those who continue to hold a special place in our hearts.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, shared stories, and stood together in remembrance. It is a privilege to walk alongside our community—both in moments of care and in moments of honoring those we miss.

May these lights continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
