Today was the last day of nurses and nursing home week and what a fun week it has been!!
Today was our casino grand finale where we played casino games, gave out some prizes and had the most delicious lunch!
Thank you to our amazing dietary team and dietary manager Melissa for taking great care of us and cooking some hamburgers and hotdogs with all the fixings! And Thank you to our wonderful HR Director Tim for smoking some pork butts for everyone! Sooooooo delicious!
We played roulette, Black Jack, and spent some time outside.
‼️one of our CNAs, Meg Scogin, won the guessing game by guessing ONE OFF! Congrats!
‼️we did a drawing to give away 3 prizes to 3 staff members that participated in games, pictures, duck searching, etc. Will announce the winners once the 3rd winner starts their next shift.

Happy day 7 of nurses and nursing home week!! Today’s dress up theme is decades day! 70s,80s,90s! Our amazing dietary staff made everyone breakfast burritos and biscuits and gravy this morning! So so good!
Our residents enjoyed some bingo and getting outside and enjoying the sunshine in our courtyard.
The staff played musical chairs and the winner was Adriana! (Video coming soon)
The hit of the day though was Curtis’ mullet!! Everyone wanted to try it out 😂🤘

Happy Day 6 of nurses and nursing home week!!! Today’s dress up theme is pj day!
Our lovely dietary team set up an ice cream sundae bar for everyone and it was amazingggg! We did a fun game of song and movie trivia! Kelsey was our winner!!
Our residents enjoyed time outside working on our garden and potting some indoor plants as well. They did some amazing artwork too. 🤗🌺💐🌷🍦🍨

We had a wonderful weekend here at Mill Creek for nurses and nursing home week and Mothers Day! Our dress up theme Saturday was Crazy hat and sock day and today was neon day!
The Mothers Day Bingo party was so much fun as well!! We hope everyone had a great weekend and can’t wait to continue the fun tomorrow! 💕💕💕
