Awesome testimony from Meghan about an experience she had at Super Weekend Austin.
Testimony Tuesday...from Meghan Davis, Ideal Protein Account Management & Integration Director, USA, after our recent Ideal Protein Super Weekend. She shares her "AHA" moment of reflection on Maintenance!!! Love her honesty about many pieces of her journey--that we can each likely relate to in one way or another. Thanks Meghan Newell Davis for letting me share.
"This weekend in Austin, at Ideal Protein Super Weekend, I had one of those unexpected AHA moments.
After more than 15+ Super Weekends—showing up as a coach, a clinic owner, and now a director—I didn’t expect to be surprised.
But I was.
I found myself sitting with Dr. Tran The founder of Ideal Protein … sharing a chocolate chip cookie.
And not hiding it.
Not justifying it.
Not fearing it.
Just being human.
For years, this has been one of the most powerful tools in my life. I’ve used it to coach thousands of clients, to transform health, and to build a career rooted in change. It taught me structure, discipline, and how to truly understand food.
But more importantly—it taught me what not to fear.
Because if we’re honest, there’s a phase many of us go through…
Where we feel like we have to be perfect.
Where we worry about being seen with anything “off protocol.”
Where we forget that the goal was never restriction—it was .
I’ve had those moments.
Avoiding clients in a grocery store because there’s bread in my cart.
Questioning whether I’m “allowed” to just enjoy food.
And then this weekend… sitting in a room full of clinic owners and coaches, we didn’t just talk about the future of maintenance—we lived it.
Two cookies later, we were still having the same conversation:
How do we continue to evolve, improve, and support long-term success?
That’s when it clicked.
This protocol isn’t about perfection.
It’s about education.
It’s about awareness.
It’s about building a relationship with food that actually lasts.
And sometimes… that includes a cookie.
So here’s to the full-circle moments.
To growth beyond Phase 1.
And to a protocol that doesn’t just change bodies—but changes behaviors for life.
