How special!!! Congratulations, Elana!!!
What an incredible achievement as part of an incredible career!!!

Did you know… Elana and her family are fluent in ASL as both her sons are deaf?

ALSO did you know… only about a quarter of hearing parents with deaf children will learn to sign and then sign regularly at home?
Which is an important stat because overwhelmingly (90-95%) deaf children are born to hearing parents.

One of the greatest to ever do it. 🥇

At her fifth , Elana Meyers Taylor has captured her first-ever gold.
