The older kids wanted to start a monthly game club at the clinic for all the kids to sign up and participate. In order to make this happen they had to follow a list and get the entire list checked off before they could get an approval. They had to get 3 yes’s from our leadership team, they had to present it to us and explain why they wanted to do it, they had to come up with a game club name, pick the different games that was age appropriate for all the age groups in the clinic, they had to pick a snack they wanted to make for the kids, and had to pick a date and time. The older kids worked very hard to get everything checked off on their list to be able to get game club started. Today was the first game club meet up and they did wonderful setting up all the games, making sure there were enough snacks and drinks for everyone, they listed all the games and did very well explaining the rules on how to play the games they selected. All the kids had a blast and we’re very proud of our older kids for having the confidence to pull this off. 🎉🎊🎮

Karley is our amazing chameleon RBT! She is able to adapt to any environment, age group, and task that she’s placed into, all with a smile on her face. She really knows how to play and she provides valuable praise to her clients throughout each session. She is observant and thoughtful in her clients’ treatment and offers great insight toward furthering her clients’ progress. We can always count on Karley to be a reliable worker, a fun therapist, and an enjoyable coworker. We truly love having Karley at My World.

You can’t start school without a back to school water day. The kids enjoyed this fun Monday so much with their therapist. With lots of snacks, fun in the sun, Apple crafts, popsicles, and goodie bags shaped like a pencil to take home. What better way to start the week.

We know that everyone is excited to see all the new therapy rooms and spaces at our new location. BUT please understand that due to privacy laws, we cannot give tours at this time during clinic hours. We are planning an open house as soon as the front entrance is completed. Our construction crew is working hard to get that done as soon as possible. We can't wait to show off our new clinic!!

Today is the day!!! We are officially open at 1400 West Walnut! A huge shoutout to the therapists that spent their weekend unpacking, organizing and getting our new clinic ready for today! AND a heartfelt thank you to the staff from Joplin and Ozark that came this weekend too! We cannot wait to see our kiddos faces when they see all the new spaces!
