We’re excited to announce a new service at Caring Companions: LIVE-IN CARE!

Live-In Care is a cost-effective alternative to traditional 24-hour hourly care, offering consistent support from the same caregiver and significant savings for families who need around-the-clock help.

💬 A Quick Note About Live-In Care

“Live-In” does not mean a caregiver permanently lives in the home. It simply means the caregiver stays for a 24-hour shift (typically 2–5 days at a time) to provide continuous support. They are still shift-based employees who are fully supervised, scheduled, and managed by Caring Companions. Caregivers rotate out at the end of their assignment, giving families consistent help without anyone moving into the home.

A caregiver stays in the home for a 24-hour period (typically 2–5 days at a time). Federal labor rules require:
✔ A private space for the caregiver
✔ 8 hours of sleep time, 5 hours uninterrupted
✔ Meal breaks and at least 4 hours of off-duty rest
✔ Only limited nighttime interruptions
If a client needs continuous awake care overnight, hourly care is required instead.

Two Live-In Care Options to Fit Your Family’s Needs:

💛 Essential Live-In Care – $350/day
Your loved one receives consistent, around-the-clock support from a dedicated live-in caregiver at our most affordable daily rate. If the scheduled caregiver is ever unavailable, we will gladly assist in helping find coverage when possible, while the family maintains responsibility for arranging backup care.

💛 Comprehensive Live-In Care – $450/day
Your loved one enjoys the same personalized, 24-hour live-in support—plus the peace of mind that comes with full coverage. If a caregiver is sick or unavailable, we handle all replacement staffing, including substitute live-in or hourly caregivers, ensuring no gaps in care.
