✨Yes you can experience depression without meeting the criteria for a mood disorder.
✨Yes, you can still utilize therapy if you experience momentary depression.

There are days when the task list feels heavy.
The coffee barely maintains its power and your bed has a vice-grip on your body.

Sometimes, you fight with all that you have to overpower the heaviness and sometimes you welcome the signs of fatigue and leave the to-dos as a problem for another day.

Remember that rest is not earned, and you are well within your rights to take a time to breathe. If bed rotting is not in the cards for you, consider rearranging tasks to allow yourself flexibility for low energy activities.

Halfway to Halloween… but today we’re unmasking stress instead of wearing it 👻✨

If your mind feels a little spooked, try these calming coping tricks:

🧠 Name It to Tame It – Pause and label what you’re feeling: “This is anxiety,” “This is overwhelm.” Naming it can reduce its intensity.

🚶‍♀️ Movement Magic – Take a short walk, stretch, or shake out tension. You don’t have to sit still to feel better.

📦 Contain the Chaos – Visualize putting your worries into a box and setting it aside for later. You can come back to it—you don’t need to carry it all day.

🕯️ Create a Calm Corner – Dim lights, light a candle, or sit in a cozy space for a few minutes of intentional rest.

😂 Silly Reset – Watch something funny or do something playful. Laughter is underrated regulation.

Spring-o-ween reminder:
Not every shadow is something to fear—sometimes it’s just a sign you need rest, not pressure.
