• Safe, empowering midwifery care
• Wraparound supports including childbirth preparation courses, postpartum home visits, and Baby Clinic on Mondays
• Direct health care services, such as STI testing, gender-affirming hormone therapy, birth control, and more

A donation to Our Community Birth Center also ensures that we can offer sliding scale discounts for uninsured individuals, flexible payment plans, and never deny healthcare services for financial reasons.

Our Community Birth Center was gifted the sweetest baby bundle this morning by Shanae, the president of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority's local chapter Beta Eta Sigma Alumnae.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority's initiative "Project Cradle Care" provides resources and educational opportunities around maternal health, family support, and uplifting communities. Every November 12, on their Founder’s Day, the sorority selects hospitals and birth centers to donate a gift basket to. We feel incredibly grateful for this donation.

Our Community Birth Center turned 4 this weekend! We are celebrating by reflecting on some highlights of this past year, including our carnival for families, client picnic, and most recently, the Trunk or Treat! It is an honor to care for our community.

What an amazing turnout we had for the Trunk or Treat! Thank you all for participating and making it such a success! We loved seeing parents with newborns coming to learn about all the awesome programs available in our area, toddlers in adorable costumes, and eager kiddos who simply were there for the candy. It was all magical.

Our hope is that families walked away with a resource or two that can help support them in parenthood.

Special thanks to: Daisy CHAIN, Parenting Now, Awesome Possum Pediatrics, Relief Nursery, Team Duckling: UO Psychology, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, Jen Nelson-Doula, Inner Clarity Therapy, Catholic Community Services of Lane County, Inc. (CCS), Duality Pelvic Health and Wellness, and Every Kid Pediatric Dentistry -- for passing out candy, playing games, and crafting with our trunk or treaters!

🎃Our Community Birth Center's Trunk or Treat is today! We're so excited to see you there. Here are some things to know:

• Construction is still happening on Mill Street and B Street is blocked. The easiest way to get to the birth center is by heading West on A Street, then snaking through the Island Park Business Complex to get to Building O off B Street. Look for the Trunk or Treat signs!

• "Thriller" dance class starts at 6 pm

• STI testing will be offered in the birth center from 6 pm to 7 pm

• This is a free community event, and all are welcome!
