Craft volunteers use their creativity to make items that bring joy and comfort to patients—such as blankets, memory books, picture frames, knitted items, and other handmade gifts. Even without direct patient contact, your creative work makes a real impact. https://bit.ly/3MXB51j

We had a pretty full house this past Saturday! Six volunteers spent the day learning more about how to support patients and families in the final hours. These volunteers have now had more in depth training on the dying process, as well as the value and importance of Legacy Projects. They are all excited to begin their Doula journey! Happy that Chyna and A’kia were able to join us! Extra special thanks to Laura for all of her expertise.

Please welcome our new Doulas In training!

You might play music, read aloud, write letters, watch TV together, play cards or board games, share stories, hold a hand, offer aromatherapy, or simply sit and listen with kindness. https://bit.ly/3MXB51j

As the New Year approaches, many of us pause to reflect on what truly matters. Consider how to make a positive difference in someone else’s life. Hospice volunteers make that difference every day. You can bring warmth and compassion to someone that needs you. https://bit.ly/3MXB51j
