Ugh, dehydration is such a vibe killer—it's the sneaky reason we feel tired or grab a snack when we're actually just thirsty! 💧 Seriously, water is the MVP for everything: boosting your metabolism, helping your digestion, and making sure you get better sleep. Plus, when you're dehydrated, your body reads that as stress, which can spike your cortisol levels—and we definitely want those hormones balanced for successful weight loss! It helps your body nail all your health goals!

So, forget the basic "eight glasses" rule. For metabolic success, we like to get specific: aim for about 30 to 35 milliliters (ml) of water per kilogram (kg) of body weight daily.

Here are two quick targets to aim for:

If you weigh around 150 pounds: That's roughly 70 oz a day (2,100 ml).

If you weigh around 200 pounds: You're looking at about 95 oz a day (2,800 ml).

Ready for the easy part? This goal typically equals just two to three full refills of your Stanley or whichever giant insulated cup you're currently obsessed with! ☕️ Easy peasy.

Happy Grandparents Day! 🥳 What an absolutely wonderful celebration at Lighthouse Christian Academy in Bloomington, IN today. Seeing our grandkids surrounded by the love and laughter of all four of us grandparents fills our hearts!
The depth of this relationship is powerful—not just emotionally, but for longevity, too! Health experts emphasize that strong social engagement and having a sense of purpose—hallmarks of the grandparent role—are key factors linked to lower stress and greater well-being in older adults. Love is good medicine!
