Job description
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Assist with patient assessments and monitoring vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly
- Perform basic nursing procedures such as wound care, suture removal, and dressing changes
- Assist with case management and coordination of care for patients with complex medical needs
- Provide occupational health services, including physical examinations and health screenings
- Participate in the development and implementation of health promotion programs
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Missouri
- Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical documentation and recordkeeping practices
- Familiarity with case management principles and practices
- Experience in occupational health is a plus
- Ability to perform physical examinations and provide basic healthcare services
- Proficiency in basic life support techniques
- Knowledge of coding systems for medical procedures and diagnoses (e.g., ICD-10, CPT)
