With SNAP benefits frozen starting November 1st, many families we serve are facing a holiday season filled with worry instead of joy. At Riverview, 99% of our clients are experiencing economic marginalization, so this is when your support matters most.

Our Harvest Helpings project provides food kits and gift cards to families so they can focus on togetherness, not the burden of holiday meals. Every donation goes directly to helping a family feel seen, supported, and celebrated this season.

Wow, what an incredible day on the course! Thanks to the generosity and support of our community, our 2nd Annual Golf Tournament raised over $30,000 to help provide essential mental health services for youth, families, and adults across Lane County.

These funds will make a real, lasting impact in providing the tools and supplies that our staff need to better serve our clients.

It was truly inspiring to witness so many individuals and businesses come together in support of accessible mental health care. The sense of community and shared purpose that filled the day was something special. What a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we work together!

Today is National Custodial Workers Day and we'd like to take a moment to celebrate Cesar!

Cesar makes a tremendous impact each day by embodying the supportive spirit that makes Riverview so special. Whether it’s assembling furniture at a moment's notice or ensuring every space is always fresh and inviting, he goes above and beyond.

If you haven’t had the chance to get to know Cesar yet, we asked him a few questions to learn more:

How long have you been at Riverview?
A good question! 😅 I feel like I've been here for like 10+ years now, but I do believe it's been 7 awesome years of working here at RCG... I always remind myself that the name changed but the people haven't. 🥲

What do you love most about working here?
That would probably be the staff here. Everyone here is always working hard to help our clients with any and all services they need, or with helping get some much-needed food or clothing. The helpfulness of everyone doesn't go unnoticed either. I remember when I didn't have a working car, staff definitely came in clutch when I needed a ride home or to simply run down the road to get something to eat. Great community! 👏

What do you enjoy doing for fun outside of work?
I have many interests. I enjoy both the great outdoors but also the warmth and comfort of home. I enjoy gaming as much as I enjoy crocheting, but I do also like my outdoor activities such as going on hikes, fishing, and overall just being in nature because it's so soul-healing! 😊 I really wanna go mushroom harvesting. Something about going out into the woods to forage for mushrooms is calling my name.... 😋

Did you know September is National Su***de Awareness Month? Our team braved the rain to help support American Foundation for Su***de Prevention - Oregon Chapter at their annual Out of the Darkness Walk by raising awareness for su***de prevention.

Our Middle School Day Treatment students spent the past few weeks bringing their creativity to life with STEM robot kits. Today was the ultimate showdown… and guess what? The final two bots went head-to-head and ended in a 1st Place TIE! 🏆🤖🤖
