Promote affordable, Universal Design housing through education, advocacy, and collaboration

The HOME (Housing Options Must Expand) Team is a subcommittee of the Community Partnerships of the Ozarks - Housing Collaborative. Broadly, the HOME Team supports individuals with developmental and physical disabilities (verbal, hearing, vision, and mobility) and promotes affordable, accessible and universal design housing through education, advocacy, and collaboration.

The HOME Team was proud to present "Universal Design in Housing: Principles, Practice & Experience" at the HBA Home & Outdoor Living Show!

This workshop highlighted the real impact of accessible, inclusive design in our homes and communities - from Aileen Dressler’s inspiring overview of Universal Housing Design to our expert panel discussion featuring Austin Miller, Isabelle Walker, April Swanson, and Shelby Butler—and the powerful Accessibility Experience led by Shelby.
