I created a short audio track called Fitness & Wellness Success Affirmations to support the mental side of training and nutrition using evidence-based principles from psychology and neuroscience, not hype or “toxic positivity.”

Research shows that values-based self-affirmations can reduce stress, improve consistency, and increase follow-through on healthy behaviors, including nutrition-related choices. When practiced regularly, believable and grounded language can help reinforce supportive thought patterns around fueling, recovery, and long-term wellness.

This track is designed to be:

•Realistic and supportive (no extreme or unrealistic claims)

•Focused on consistency, self-trust, nourishment, and resilience

•Easy to use during walks, meal prep, first thing in the morning, or as you’re winding down and falling asleep at night

It’s not a replacement for training or nutrition guidance, it’s a mental support tool to help you stay aligned with your fitness, fueling, and wellness goals.

We were inspired by this great shot of our 19 year long client, Mandy Bekoin, doing wall climbs during her workout, so we decided to ask her a few questions about her journey. Read her touching responses below.

“I have made SO much progress in that time (19 years). I am fitter in my late 40s than I ever was as a younger person. At age 49, I can RUN, which I couldn’t do in high school! I can do lots of things I never would have dreamed I could do in my teens and 20s, and it all started with stepping out of my comfort zone to pick up a barbell and taking a chance on pushing my limits.

I am also much more nutritionally aware and able to make decisions that support my health. Molly’s transparency with her own health and body image journey have helped me tremendously, and Tim’s philosophical approach to workouts and wellness inspire me every time I go to class.

Instinct means the world to me. It is one of my favorite places to be. I can walk in on a bad day and instantly feel better. Tim, Molly and our other coaches are positive and uplifting. And the community of members is wonderful. There is something truly special about what Molly and Tim have built. I hope to be there for many, many more years.”

Here’s our challenge to you!

Can you complete all 12 of our kick ass workouts from now until December 23rd?

Each workout you do puts your name into a drawing for a PRIZE, and completing all 12 gives you a GREAT chance to win!

Can’t make it in each day? No worries. Make it up on your own time (during open gym, before or after class, or do a home version) and we will count it! Be sure to log your result into SugarWOD (our free app).

Let’s go into Christmas feeling extra FIT, extra healthy, and ready to relax the reigns for a few days for the holiday.

Guess what? Non members can join us for $50! That’s a great deal! It’s normally $20 per drop in, so this challenge would cost $240 for non members.

We are still offering up to 5 free drop ins for non members- and we will donate to charity on your behalf for coming in. So if you can’t hit all 12 days, at least take advantage of the free 5!
