Our mission is to improve lives and build stronger communities through better health. Since 1970, Memorial has been a teaching hospital affiliated with Southern Illinois University School of Medicine for the purpose of providing clinical training for residents. Our hospital's featured services include Memorial Heart and Vascular Services, Memorial Rehab Services, Emergency Services, Family Maternity, Regional Cancer Center, Regional Burn Center, Orthopedic Services, Memorial Behavioral Services and Memorial Transplant Services. Emergency services are available 24 hours daily. Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. Lab Hours: M-F, 6AM - 6PM, Sat, 7 AM - 12 PM

A kitten rescue for the win! Memorial Child Care colleagues teamed up with Memorial Health Security to rescue a kitten who hid inside a car engine at daycare drop off! It took an hour to coax the kitten out with food, milk and “mama cat” meows, compliments of YouTube! Perfect ending – the kitten was adopted by one of the daycare parents and named “Kia.”
