Gloe, RN, BSN, MSN, EdD, is a well-versed registered nurse and doctor of education working as Nursing Instructor at Mercy School of Nursing and Health Sciences of Southwest Baptist University in Springfield, Missouri, which she joined in 2014. She teaches clinical nursing in the third semester of an ASN program on a telemetry floor. Also on staff at Mercy Hospital Springfield, Donna has an impressive professional journey that spans thirty-three years and her areas of expertise are education, medical/surgical nursing, nursing informatics, dialysis nursing, and critical care nursing. her teaching expertise includes renal, cardiac, respiratory, critical thinking and simulation. Throughout her many years in practice, Donna has upheld a steadfast commitment to the ethical and professional standards of her work, as evidenced by her sterling record, and ensures an impeccable degree of patient satisfaction in all facets of her practice. Donna makes a difference in the lives of patients by teaching her students critical thinking. As a volunteer, she has participated in medical missions to Jamaica and Peru (through CERT).
