At the heart of everything we do are our Stevie’s World Kids—local children and families facing tough challenges. Every swing, every laugh, every dollar raised at our event helps provide them with support, hope, and joy.

But Stevie’s World is more than Ohio's largest wiffle ball tournament—it’s Springfield’s biggest day of wiffle fun, food, and community:

We invite you to obtain a book and engage in a personal discussion with John Kinsella, an iconic figure who inspired Field of Dreams. This is a unique opportunity that is a once-in-a-lifetime dream come true.

⚾️Meet Cooper⚾️

Cooper is 16 years old and a true fighter. He was born with myotubular myopathy, a very rare genetic condition that weakens the muscles needed for movement and breathing. From the moment he arrived, his life has been anything but easy—he spent 89 nights in the NICU as a baby, with only a 50% chance of survival before year one.

Since then, Cooper has endured more than 30 surgeries. In May 2024, he suffered a major seizure that sent his body into hyperthermic shock—an event that nearly took his life. His care needs are complex and constantly changing, requiring his mom to step away from her career as a nurse to provide full-time care, while his dad serves as an assistant principal in the Northwestern School District.

But Cooper is so much more than his challenges. He’s a brother (to his twin sister, Lilly), a student at Northwestern, and a young man with a bright personality that shines through every obstacle. He loves baseball and dreams of visiting every MLB stadium—he’s already been to 18! He’s also a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Kansas City Chiefs.

Behind every smile Cooper shares is a family carrying enormous responsibility, both emotionally and financially. Your support helps ease their load—whether it’s medical costs, specialized equipment, or the day-to-day care that allows Cooper to keep fighting and keep living with joy.
