One of the most overlooked cardiovascular markers: resting heart rate.

Normal range is 60–100, but research consistently shows that lower resting heart rate correlates with better cardiovascular fitness and health outcomes.

Best way to improve it? Zone 2 cardio — sustained, conversational-pace exercise 3–4x/week for 30–45 min.
