Big news for HSHS St. John’s Hospital – and our planet.

HSHS St. John's Hospital is the first hospital in Hospital Sisters Health System to earn the Energy Star certification. Our score of 78 means we rank in the top 22% of energy-efficient buildings nationwide.

With nearly $1 million saved in energy costs over the past three years, this milestone is all due to our incredible facilities team, who works behind the scenes to keep our building running smoothly.

HSHS St. John's Hospital is now accepting applications for the Summer 2026 Nursing Internship. Join our experienced nurses for a four-week internship where you will gain practical work experience in an environment that emphasizes patient-centered care.

The internship is open to students currently in an accredited ADN, BSN or MSN program, or recently graduated with an ADN or BSN.
