We are deeply grieved by the heartbreaking news of loss in our community. The suddenness and severity of this tragedy have left many reeling, struggling to make sense of what has happened and wondering how to begin moving forward.
When loss comes without warning, especially involving young lives, it strikes at the very heart of our shared humanity. It shakes our sense of safety and stability, leaving behind not only sorrow, but confusion, fear, and feeling of vulnerability. These reactions are normal in the face of traumatic events. They are signs of just how deeply we are interconnected in our shared humanity.
As a mental health counseling practice, we want to acknowledge this pain. Trauma does not only touch those directly involved. It ripples outward, often in unseen ways.
Our work, grounded in both faith and clinical care such as EMDR for trauma, is here to support anyone impacted by this event. We believe that healing can begin in the presence of compassionate care and research based techniques.
Please know that our hearts are with you, and our doors are open. We are here to walk with you as our community grieves, heals, and remembers.
