AbilityMarketplace.com is a place for business owners with disabilities to advertise their online or brick-and-mortar stores, and where the public can SHOP and show their support. We also have resources and a support network if you would like to start a business. Our mission is to create jobs and reduce the unemployment rate among people with disabilities.
Daniel Olsen, Founder and CEO, developed the concept for AbilityMarketplace.com in Sangamon CEO, a program for high school seniors who are interested in entrepreneurship. He was the first person with a developmental disability in the program and won second place in the CEO Shark Tank.
Daniel is a long-distance runner and a global messenger for Special Olympics. He enjoys his role as a public speaker and fundraiser. As a professional speaker, Daniel shares his determination to move the Inclusion Revolution into the workplace and how disabilities are opportunities.
