Below is this week’s COVID-19 Community Dashboard with the number of people being treated for COVID-19 throughout our hospitals.

The dashboard includes the number of people currently hospitalized at Memorial Medical Center, Decatur Memorial Hospital, Passavant Area Hospital, Taylorville Memorial Hospital and Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

We are one of two hospitals in Springfield and one of two hospitals in Decatur. The dashboard only reflects our MHS hospital information and does not include data from hospitals outside of our system. Additional information and COVID-19 updates can be found at http://mhs.social/r8bZ50FZINx.

We are preparing our hospitals and clinics for a surge of patients due to the continued spread of the Delta variant. Last year, patients infected with the variants of the virus took about 6-7 days to become ill enough to need hospitalization. Now, patients with the Delta variant are getting sicker much faster and are ending up in the hospital after only about 4 days.
