Is something in your body acting up and not sure whether to use heat or ice?
If it’s a new injury, swelling, or sharp pain — go cold. Ice helps reduce inflammation and calm pain.
If it’s tight, stiff, or sore with no swelling — heat can help relax the muscles and improve movement.
When in doubt, start cold for the first 24–48 hours, then heat as things settle.
