Tennessee Underground, LLC is an excavating company that deals with installation for under ground electrical and data services, erosion control, boaring, trenching, concrete work and clearing land to name a few. Some of the jobs we persue, but not limited to are simply excavation work (digging ditches/trenches etc.), laying conduit (PVC), installing conduit racks, installing duct banks, covering ditches and a variety of concrete work. All of Tennessee Underground jobs are construction based and not dealing with live electricity. As a machine operator you will be required to operate multiple types of equipment such as track hoes, back hoes, skid steers, mini x, dump trucks (CDL required), driving a truck pulling a trailer and other excavation equipment. All of out equipment is up to date with hand controls for easier operation.
Tennessee Underground will supply you with your initial safety equipment required for your job assignment. It is the employees responsibility to keep track of these items, if they are lost the replacements will be at the employees expense.
Some of our positions require OSHA certification, Tennessee Underground will supply materials and training sign off for these requirements.
Safety, attendance and being punctual are required and key to success with our company. We start each day with a safety meeting and we strive for a safe work environment! If you are late or miss the meeting you will not be allowed to work that day.
For daily dispatch to the job site you will meet at our shop in Hendersonville, TN and ride with your crew.
Our days start between 6:00 am and 7:00 am daily and some days there is a possibility that you may work more that 8 hours to meet deadlines.
Pay starts at $20.00 and BOE for increased hourly rate
Tennessee Underground, LLC offers full benefits (medical, vision, dental) and 401K after 90 days of employment
One week paid vacation after one year of employment.
Must be able to work 8 plus hours per day
Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more
Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
Must have a valid drivers license (CDL is a plus)
Must have a clean background and drug free
