I am honestly overwhelmed— in the very best way.

Thank you. Truly.
To everyone who showed up after my last post… I have felt it.

Whether you booked a session, bought a package, shared the post, commented, sent a message, told a friend, or quietly rooted for me from the sidelines— it matters. Every single piece of support landed.

What moved me most wasn’t just the financial help (though that absolutely helps keep my doors open). It was the reminder that this work is seen, valued, and needed. That building something new, slow, relational, and nervous-system-centered in this community actually means something to people.

There are (and will continue to be) seasons when this work feels like too much to hold. This experience reminded me that shared support makes it sustainable.

I feel deeply held by this community.
Grateful beyond words.
And more committed than ever to continuing this work with integrity, care, and presence.

Thank you for helping keep this space— and this work— alive.

I’m going to be very real for a moment…

My small business is in a scary spot right now. If I don’t make sales soon, I’m looking at the very real possibility of having to shut my doors.

Asking for help like this is definitely uncomfortable— and I know this is a hard season for everyone. So I Invite you to hear this without pressure or guilt. Just honesty.

I fully realize that what I offer isn’t trendy wellness or feel-good fluff. It’s nervous-system-focused, trauma-informed work that helps people feel safer in their bodies, more regulated in their lives, and more resourced to handle what life throws at them. This work supports mental health, recovery, resilience, and real, sustainable change— especially for people who haven’t been helped by talk therapy or traditional approaches alone.

There is no one else in our community offering this particular blend of Somatic Experiencing®, trauma-informed care, and mindful movement. And I truly believe it fills a vital gap in how we support one another here.

If you’ve ever worked with me…
If something I shared has helped you feel less alone…
If you believe this kind of work matters in our community…

I could really use your support right now.

Ways to help that do not cost money:
• Like or share this post
• Comment or engage so more people see it
• Tell a friend about my work

Ways to help if you are able:
• Book a session
• Purchase a package or gift certificate

No matter how you show up—thank you. Truly.

Keeping this work alive matters to me more than I can put into words, and I’m deeply grateful for every bit of support, seen and unseen.

Supporting a local SEP isn’t just keeping a small business afloat— it’s helping tend a small flame of nervous-system literacy and embodied healing in our community. This work meets people in the real place their system lives… not the polished version the world expects.

The season has slipped into its slower rhythm (a collective exhale, a bit of dorsal drift), and your support— booking a session, sending a referral, sharing my work— genuinely helps me keep offering this service to those trying to build steadier, more regulated lives in a world that rarely pauses for them.

If your body has been signaling a need for co-regulation, for steadiness, for a place to breathe and unfold at its own pace… this is a supportive moment to reach out. I’d be honored to hold space for you and meet your system exactly as it is.

✨ Nervous system support shouldn’t feel out of reach— and I’m committed to making sure it isn’t.

If you’ve been curious about Somatic Experiencing®, Somatic Supportive Touch, or even 1:1 yoga… consider this your gentle nudge from the universe (and from your local SEP/E-RYT 😉).

I’ve added a few new ways to work together— including affordable single-session options and a 5-session SE package that saves you $50.

Both graphics below break it all down so you can choose what fits your needs, your pace, and your capacity.

Whether you’re dealing with overwhelm, chronic stress, burnout, or you simply want to feel more grounded in your body again… this work meets you exactly where you are.
And it works.

🧡 One-on-one support, personalized care, real nervous system change.
🧡 In-person here in Springfield, with virtual SE available for those further away.

If your system has been whispering (or yelling) that it needs something different… let’s start there.

You deserve support that actually supports you. ✨

✨ What’s the Difference Between a Standard Yoga Class and a Somatic Yoga Session? ✨

Most people know what to expect in a typical yoga class:
• a set sequence of poses
• physical alignment cues
• breathwork
• maybe a sprinkle of relaxation at the end

A standard class focuses primarily on the pose, the form, and the flow. And it’s wonderful for strength, flexibility, stress relief, and community.

Somatic Yoga, though?
It’s a different animal entirely.

Somatic Yoga blends mindful movement with nervous-system education. Instead of striving for a shape, we slow down enough to actually feel what the body is doing—and what it’s trying to say. There’s less emphasis on “doing it right” and more emphasis on being in relationship with your body as it unwinds stress, tension, and old patterns.

Here’s how Somatic Yoga stands apart:

🧠 Nervous-System Focused
We work with your physiology—not against it. Movements are designed to support regulation, grounding, and capacity-building.

🐌 Slow, Intentional Pacing
There’s no rushing. We explore micro-movements, curiosity, and sensation in a way that helps the body soften rather than brace.

🌬️ Trauma-Informed Approach
You choose your pace, your edges, and what feels safe. Nothing is forced. Nothing is pushed.

🌀 Repatterning Instead of Performing
We’re not chasing flexibility—we’re rewiring holding patterns, releasing chronic tension, and increasing ease.

💛 Deep Internal Awareness
This practice helps you feel more connected, present, and embodied—something many people realize they haven’t felt in years.

The Added Benefits of Somatic Yoga:
• better emotional regulation
• reduced chronic tension + pain
• improved sleep
• increased body awareness + trust
• more resilience under stress
• a felt sense of safety in your own skin
• tools you can use outside of class, in everyday life

Somatic Yoga isn’t “harder” or “easier”— it’s simply different.
It’s yoga for the nervous system.
Yoga for healing.
Yoga that helps you access more of you.

If you’ve ever felt like standard yoga moves too fast, or that you struggle to stay connected to your body, or you want a practice that supports your mental + emotional wellbeing as much as your physical health—Somatic Yoga might be exactly what your system has been craving.

Reach out, if you’re interested, all are welcome, always. 🙏🏼
