At Baystate Health Foundation, we strive to connect our community to the areas of Baystate Health that mean the most to them through philanthropy. Together, Baystate Health’s hospitals, medical practices and home care provides a powerful integration of health care that places the patient first with high-quality, compassionate care. The landscape of healthcare is ever-changing, and now more than ever, philanthropy plays a pivotal role at Baystate Health. Gifts last year funded much needed mobile work stations for nurses, our new palliative care team who provide support for chronically ill patients, equipment for pediatric surgeons who perform miracles every day, educational programs for care providers to support our commitment to innovative learning and so much more. Hyundai, Gary Rome Hyundai and the Baystate Health Foundation recently partnered for a FREE Car Seat Safety Check event at Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke. Families received education, inspections, and replacement seats from certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians.

💙 As part of the event, Hyundai generously donated $25,000 to support Baystate’s Pediatric Trauma Surgery Injury Prevention Car Seat Program.

Since 2023, this partnership has provided 220+ car and booster seats to families in need - keeping kids safe on the road.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians will:
- Inspect your child’s car seat for proper installation
- Check expiration dates & manufacturer recalls
- Ensure the seat is the right fit for your child
- Confirm correct installation in your vehicle

Every August, Marriott Hotels and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals team up to serve root beer floats across the U.S. and Canada - a sweet tradition that traces back to 1927, when Marriott founders J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott launched a root beer float stand in Washington, D.C.

We’re proud to have the Sheraton Springfield, a Marriott property, supporting our only local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. Thank you for making miracles happen for kids in our community! ✨
