NAMI Southwest Missouri NAMI Southwest Missouri is in its 27th year of serving people with mental illness. The Hope Center is a program of NAMI Southwest Missouri.

NAMI Southwest Missouri provides needed services, support, and resources for individuals affected by mental illness in Springfield, MO and the surrounding area. NAMI is committed to improving the lives of people with mental illness and serves anyone affected by these illnesses. NAMI Southwest Missouri offers a wide variety of services and support and has continued to increase programs and services to meet the expanding needs of this area. The number of support groups and activities has grown significantly to meet the increased needs. It is a "peer-operated" drop-in center offering a variety of unique programs and services to individuals affected by mental illness in southwest Missouri. The Hope Center is located at the NAMI Southwest Missouri office. The Warm Line is a dedicated 365-day telephone support line for persons with any mental illness because "sometimes just having someone to talk to can make all the difference in the world." NAMI Southwest Missouri is directed by an active Board of Directors and managed by a full time Executive Director.

Join us October, 20th 2011 at 5:30 p.m. for our Annual Banquet and Auction with guest speaker Eric Hipple, retired Detroit Lions quarterback.

This support group brings parents of children affected by a mental disorder or behavioral disorders together. Parents have the opportunity to share common experiences and successes with one another in a parent friendly environment.
