What are the Neurological "Soft Signs" of Healing to look for during the start of your care plan? When care first starts, the biggest changes usually aren’t the big milestones. They’re the little ones that will add up to the BIG ones!! 😍

You might start to notice things like:

👏 Deeper, more restful sleep

👏 A better appetite or easier digestion

👏 Stronger tone or better posture

👏 More balance and smoother coordination

👏 Less sensory overwhelm

👏 Calmer transitions and fewer meltdowns

These are what we call neurological “soft signs” of healing.

They’re the body’s way of saying, “Hey, I’m starting to regulate and rebalance!” Meaning, exactly what we want!! 💪

As your child’s nervous system settles and strengthens, these subtle shifts start to stack up, building the foundation for the bigger, more visible progress ahead (like speech, motor skills, and emotional growth). Those BIG things come after the soft signs of healing.

Healing happens from the inside out 👉 foundation first, then complexity.

🌿Campbell's Root Cause Healing Journey🌿

When Campbell came to Thrive, he was just days old and struggling with a lot of overall tension since birth. Nursing was incredibly difficult — he had severe tongue and lip ties and every feeding ended with both mom and baby in tears. 💔
His mom shared, “I felt frustrated, overwhelmed, and sad because he was trying so hard but just couldn’t do what he needed to do to nurse properly.”

After multiple tongue and lip tie revisions, his parents knew that addressing the root cause of his tension through chiropractic care would be key. From the very first visit with Dr. James, they began to notice small but powerful changes — less arching, less frustration, and more peace during nursing sessions. 🌿

At 3 months, after a third revision, the specialist even noted how much chiropractic care had helped reduce the tension in Campbell’s mouth, allowing him to heal more fully. With continued care and support, Campbell is now 4 months old, nursing comfortably and without any shields — something his family once wondered if they’d ever achieve. 🍼💪

“Now nursing is no longer stressful. We’re so thankful,” his mom shared.
The family has been part of the Thrive community for years and describes our office as feeling like home — a place where they can show up as they are, be supported, and even grab a snack or two on the way out. 😉💛

The word this week is HOPE! This word stood out to our CA Kara as she listened to Jerrica on a new patient phone call! Kara says, “she provides so much hope for each family she gets to connect with!” I think we would all agree!! ❤️
