Phoenix Home Care
A New Beginning for your home health care...

ABOUT US:
Phoenix Home Care came to be as a result of our commitment to improve the quality of life for those we serve. It is that desire to share the freedom of new beginnings that drives the team at Phoenix Home Care. There are many home health care agencies in the marketplace. On the outside they all pretty much look the same. It is inside that matters - - the culture. We have set out to distinguish ourselves through the selection of our people, the client-focused training of our highly-skilled caregivers and the value-based leadership practices of our management. OUR NAME:
The story of the legend of the phoenix bird is a positive one. The beautiful mythical creature reflects the lights and colors of the morning sunrise - - always chasing the light and capturing all that was beautiful. It is a symbol of constant rebirth, renewal and fresh starts. It is not a story of ashes but rather of beauty and upward thinking...(Isaiah 61:3). At Phoenix Home Care we believe everyone deserves the bright colors of hope in new beginnings - - no matter what cycle of life they are facing. Our energy is focused on improving quality of life, perpetuating positive attitudes and embracing the challenges life places before us with grace, respect and compassion. Our catalyst to consistently rise to new heights is a combination of perpetual learning, measurement of success, looking through the eyes of those we serve and listening with the heart which causes us to pause and discover what is really important in each situation. Within the listening and the application of learning we find new beginnings. OUR MISSION:
To offer new beginnings and meaningful opportunities to caregivers and clinicians while providing home care services built on innovation, skill and Christ-like values of compassion, honesty and patience. OUR CORE VALUES:
The following is a statement of core values which reflect, in words, what is truly important to us as an organization. In our Mission we highlight the pillars of this culture: Compassion, Honesty and Patience. These descriptive words further define our culture. These values exist at our core and do not change as our offerings and service areas change. They are our DNA. We often say that many home health care agencies look the same on the outside – it is the inside that matters. Take a look inside Phoenix Home Care. We Value….
*Responsibility We take full responsibility for our actions on our journeys to fulfill our commitments.
*Respect We treat each other and those we serve with equal and high-level respect.
*Excellence We strive to exceed the expectations standard in our industry – always giving something “extra” that improves the moments in life.
*Empathy In all that we do, we ask, “What would I want if it were me?” Then we act on that Golden Rule as our guide.
*Potential We strive to help every caregiver, clinician and client reach their full potential in life.
*Courage With an optimistic and brave heart we face each challenge, celebrating successes and viewing failures as opportunities to grow.
*Community We are active participants in our communities…reaching out to be good neighbors.

Meet Shauntel, a Private Duty Nursing RN from our Springfield, MO region!
We asked her, "What gives you the passion to do what you do?" she said, "I grew up with 5 brothers and 1 sister and I was the oldest daughter. Caretaking has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. I have always loved helping others get better, feel better, and push themselves farther than they thought they could go.

My youngest daughter (Kamryn) was born with a rare genetic disorder and has required a lot of care since birth. This has given me a whole new passion and purpose. God has been preparing me for years. I had no idea that my purpose of becoming a nurse was to one day save my daughter’s life and care for her. I do believe that she would not be here without my nursing background. I thought I had it all planned out, but God always had a bigger plan and now it all makes sense."
