We only offer eyelash extensions. It's what we do morning, day and night. This is not your convenience full service salon or spa offering multiple services. Blink Lash Studio is the place to go if you want the best, incredibly sexy lashes. Our long, luxurious, and completely natural looking lashes create the kind of gorgeousness that turns heads. They save you time and hassle while letting you look great day and night as well as helping you achieve fabulousness without clumpy mascara. Blink lash extensions are semi-permanent, synthetic eyelashes attached one by one to your natural lashes and last 30-45 days. With monthly "touch ups" (relash) your lashes will last forever. However, they are not for everyone. They are a beauty treatment that requires maintenance. Our synthetic extensions are expertly applied and will not damage your natural lashes in any way nor does it cause discomfort. We are highly trained lash artist and often repair extensions improperly applied elsewhere. Beware of imitators offering this service in their salons. Eyelash extensions are single, synthetic lashes attached to your eyelash hair individually and not to your skin. It is a very enhancing beauty service and you do NOT need to use mascara while wearing them. This is a very meticulous and intense service that requires skill and precision. Once properly applied, these lashes are so natural looking, it is difficult to tell even up close that you have extensions on. They are virtually weightless. To customize your look, we offer several degrees of curl, thickness and lengths. If your technician is not properly trained nor qualified, extensions could potentially damage your natural lashes, leaving you with ugly "bald spots". My process is meticulous. Your results depend first on the skill of your lash artist and second, on the product used. Very few "extensionists" do eyelashes on a frequent basis. This procedure is new to the beauty industry and many unscrupulous opportunists call themselves specialists. Don't be fooled or tempted by lower costs for this service. Do your research and ask for before/after photos of actual clients. Ask to see their cosmetology or esthetic license. Many of these people frequently offer a wide array of other beauty services which never truly allows them to specialize and become an expert in eyelash extensions. The adhesive we use creates a polypeptide bond formulated specifically for human lashes. It dries very softly and allows the lashes to stay flexible and bouncy just like your own. The extensions will adhere to your natural lash comfortably while not damaging or causing them to fall out. Please do NOT remove the extensions on your own. We will be more than happy to remove them for you. Women aged 16 to 90 can wear these extensions. They are especially valuable for busy moms, professional women, brides, mature women or any woman who wants to save time getting ready everyday and look enhanced. They will leave you free from worry about mascara smears or clumps. You will also be free from the hassle and damage of eyelash curlers. Lash extensions are a totally individual process. They will stay on your lashes for your remaining natural lash life. A normal lash growth/shed cycle is 30-60 days. Most people shed natural lashes at a rate of 1-2 lashes per eye, per day. We then grow a new lash to replace the one that shed. Extensions can stay on for up to 60 days with proper care and forever with monthly maintenance. However, general after care will affect how long the lashes last. For new clients starting out with a full eyelash extension set, typical, qualified lash pros charge anywhere from $300-$600. However, at Blink Lash Studio, we are offering them for less than half of that. "Replenishment" (touch ups) to maintain your lash fullness is very economical as well. My clients love it that keeping the enhanced look doesn't break the bank. Our lash extensions naturally darken your lashes. They will look vivid and mascara is not necessary. Rubbing directly on the lashes or using makeup remover will weaken the bonding. This may also twist the extensions or make them fall out. We strongly recommend that you avoid wearing mascara, curling the lashes, rubbing your eyes or pulling on the extensions. However, you may wear a lightweight, water-soluble mascara if desired which we can supply for you. Before you arrive for your appointment, please remove all eye makeup and clean your lashes with a mild, oil free cleanser. Please do not use oil based makeup removers to clean your lashes. Refrain from using any mascara the day of your appointment. I'd rather spend the time perfecting your extension service than removing mascara. Please remove contact lenses or bring a lens case and remove them once you arrive. Plan to set aside approximately 2 hours for your full set appointment and an hour or less for your touch up. Many clients fall asleep on our cozy, heated table and wake up amazed with gorgeous lashes! Following the important after-care instructions will aid in extending the life of your lash extensions. The first 24-48 hours following your application are most crucial. Care must be taken not to rub your eyes, pull your lashes or scratch the eye area. Also, any creams, eye makeup removers, lotions or cleansers containing oils can loosen the bond of the extensions. Care must be taken applying eye cream sparingly with avoidance of the lash line area. In the shower, you should avoid direct water spray and do not use a steam bath. Do not swim or wash your face directly with hot water during the initial 48 hours of the application. Do not rub your eyes or lashes when washing your face. Gently clean around the eyes with your fingers. As your natural lashes become accustomed to the extensions and with a little practice maintaining the lashes, the time between touch ups can be extended.
