Sara Dado, LCSW, and Katie Lord, RN BSN, presented “Introduction to Hospice & Palliative Care for Supportive Living Programs in Illinois,” highlighting how early integration of care can enhance quality of life, reduce hospitalizations, and provide essential support to families during end-of-life transitions.

Attendees walked away with practical tools—including communication strategies, regulatory insights, and tips for building strong collaborative care teams in SLP settings. Thank you to AALC for the opportunity to share this important message and connect with professionals committed to compassionate care!

This is our Wii Bowling Team and they absolutely rock!!! They have made it to the final 4 with the State of Illinois Affordable Assisted Living Coalition Wii Tournament. We are traveling to Springfield next Wednesday to compete for the State Championship!
