Last Friday we held our first ever Canoe Camp Water Day! In the morning we had a visit from Chinese students visiting from MSU, VBS with the residents, then after lunch we partied outside! We had popsicles donated from Haven Hospice, a water gun tie dye fight, small fireworks and more! More pictures are coming but please enjoy the fun we had!

The first two days of Canoe Kids Camp were a success!! The children got to play with the residents inside and outside all day. We are so thankful that we had 9 children to join us these last two days. After a couple days of rest for the residents we are back at it again on Friday with VBS and water day! The children are VERY excited to say the least.

Residents went on a country tour today with the POD, Sara. While on the drive residents got to watch farmers baling hay. Residents reminisced about their own farms and experiences. After the trip, our local dairy queen gave us free dipped cones! Such a fun afternoon!

What a wonderful time we had last night. We took a full bus to Springfield Rehab to watch fireworks. We were met with popsicles, waters, ice cream and glow sticks then proceeded to watch the best firework show!! Thank you Amy from Springfield Rehab and everyone involved in the show. It was amazing!
