At Pierce Vision Specialists, we offer a full range of comprehensive vision care including primary and specialty care for all ages.

Some visual problems cannot be treated adequately with just glasses or contact lenses, and are best resolved through a program of vision and or visual perceptual therapy. Our vision therapists are all well trained professionals who implement individually prescribed vision therapy procedures and programs. We also specialize in low vision care and do many types of contact lenses. In addition, we do general eye care for infants, school aged children, teens and adults. We have an in-office optical lab and large frame selection.

We are excited to announce the addition of Dr. Melissa Broaddus to our practice. Melissa grew up in Springfield, Missouri, and graduated from Glendale High School before attending Eastern Kentucky University for her undergraduate degree. She earned her doctorate from the Southern College of Optometry in 2013 and completed a residency in Family Practice Optometry with an emphasis in ocular disease at West Tennessee Eye. She is a member of several professional optometric societies, and lives in Springfield with her husband and son.

Congrats to our student doctor, Dr. Grace Dille from the Illinois College of Optometry. Her last day with us was last Friday so this week we are missing her! She will be graduating and we are so proud!!! You will be a fantastic eye doctor, Grace!

She started with us as front desk and check out, but has also become a very crucial part of the practice—as she manages contact orders, trial inventory, new wearer classes, and more!
