Our Autism Resource Specialist Jamie McGranahan, alongside her son Connor, led an assembly at Wanda Gray Elementary that included a reading of Who You Are by Todd Parr and a thoughtful conversation about what life is like with a disability. These conversations help start important conversations about inclusion and understanding in school communities. 💬📚

Our Autism Information Blast on Saturday was a huge success, and we couldn’t have done it without our wonderful community partners! 🎉
Thank you to the vendors who joined us and shared their time, expertise, and resources to help educate and support the families we serve. We’re also grateful to everyone who attended and engaged in meaningful conversations, asked questions, and learned about available resources. Thank you to the Rotary Club of Springfield Southeast for their generous donation to The Arc of the Ozarks!

Their support will allow us to purchase a HyperVibe machine for the Autism and Neurodevelopmental Center. This specialized equipment helps individuals who have difficulty initiating movement or need additional sensory input to stay calm, focused, and ready for therapy—helping us support many children as they build confidence, regulation, and engagement in therapy.

Thank you for helping us provide meaningful, hands-on support to the people we serve! 👏
