Today the FDA approved the COVID-19 vaccine. As member of medical staff of Virginia Hospital Center, this morning we received an email announcing the availability f the vaccine for their physicians, nurses and healthcare providers.

I have signed up and will be receiving the vaccine on Saturday December 19 at 10AM.

The second shot will be three weeks later on January 9, 2021.

Stay tuned as I will chronicle my journey including the timeline at which I develop antibodies. I will be testing to look for antibodies frequently. Here is to a healthy and normal 2021. Can’t wait!
