We are a multiple pathway program, and one of those pathways is Sanctuary church!
WHAT TO EXPECT AT SANCTUARY CHURCH
✅ Authenticity.
We are real people, with real struggles, who really love Jesus. We aren’t here to perform, and we may not be polished, but we are authentic. We like to remind each other that God won’t heal who you pretend to be. He wants the real you. You can walk through our doors just as you are, and we will love you.
✅ Interactive sermons.
Have you ever been to a church where you walk in, sit down, listen to one pastor talk for 45 minutes, and then it’s over? We love our local churches who have this model. However, that’s not our model. At our services, everyone is encouraged to raise their hand, ask questions, and share their insights. On any given Saturday, you can expect to hear from 10-20 people.
✅ Jesus plus nothing.
We are here to preach the simple Gospel: That Jesus died on the cross to forgive all of our sins, so that we may have eternal life and become children of God. PERIOD. We will not add anything to this Gospel. We aren’t here to teach you how to behave better—we are here to teach you about your identity in Christ. When Jesus died on the cross, he said, “IT IS FINISHED.” (And He meant it!)
✅ Intentional outreach.
We want to make Springfield better. We are constantly searching for opportunities and resources to help those in need, whether it’s through groceries, clothing, dinner, counseling, or something else.
