What a SPLASH to end our National Nursing Home Week celebration! 💦🎉
Residents and staff had an absolute blast sending our Administrator, Brian, into the dunk tank on Friday! Laughter, cheers, and a little friendly revenge made for the perfect grand finale to an unforgettable week. 😄
One thing is for sure… after all the fun we had last week, there will definitely be more water activities in our future! 🌊☀️
Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special for our residents and staff. Memories were made all week long! ❤️

🌊 Tidal Wave Tailgate 🌊
Our Friday beach barbecue was an absolute splash! ☀️
The staff braved the heat and "walked the plank" while our residents lined up with water guns to spray them down. The laughter was contagious, and it didn't take long for a full-blown, friendly water fight to break out among the residents too! 🔫💦
Seeing everyone smiling, laughing, and enjoying the beautiful sunshine together was truly wonderful. Thank you to our incredible community for making this week unforgettable!

The sharks are still circling! 🦈🌊
Here are more photos and videos from our Shark Dive adventure! Our residents had an unforgettable time stepping inside the “shark cage,” diving deep into the ocean blue, and coming face-to-face with some jaw-dropping shark encounters.
From laughter to excitement, everyone had a fintastic time swimming with the sharks right from the comfort of home! Thank you to everyone who helped bring this underwater adventure to life. 💙🐠

The "Care-ibbeans" of the Sea Have Overtaken Glendale Gardens! 🏴‍☠️
Shiver me timbers! Day 2 of National Nursing Home Week was a wild voyage for Pirate Party Day! 🌊🦜
Here is how our hearty crew spent Tuesday's grand adventure:
• Davy Jones’s Locker: We started our journey in the deep.
• Inked Up: Brave residents and staff earned their pirate tattoos.
• ⚓️Treasure Hunt: We tracked down hidden pirate ducks across the ship. 🦆
• Message in a Bottle: Secrets of the deep were discovered in mysterious bottles. 📜The Feast: We pillaged the galley for a massive Fish Fry lunch. 🐟
• Live Performance: A musical buccaneer played tunes fit for the Captain. 🎶
• Pirate Snacks: We finished the day devouring sweet and salty plunder. 🍪
• Our crew proved that old age just means more treasure in the chest! Yo ho, ho, it's a pirate's life for us! 🏴‍☠️💎

🌅 SNEAK PEEK AT WEDNESDAY: MARGARITAVILLE PARTY! 🏖️
Change your coordinates, sailors! Tomorrow we change our sails for paradise. There will be salt in the air and sand in our scrubs as we spend the day wasting away in Margaritaville! 🍹🌴

🌊🐠 National Skilled Nursing Home Week has officially begun at Glendale Gardens Nursing & Rehab! 🐚🦀
Today was the kickoff of our “Under the Sea” celebration, and the building has been transformed into an ocean paradise! From colorful sea creatures to beachy vibes and pirate fun, all the decorations are finally up and ready for a week full of laughter, memories, and celebration. 🌴⚓🐙
Our residents and staff are diving into the festivities, and we can’t wait to share all the fun throughout the week. Let the under the sea adventures begin! 💙🐬
