There really is no better feeling than getting cards like this. Dr. Sitko (Steve) received this from a patient who he hadn’t seen for a while.

I know there are many people who don’t know what kind of education chiropractors actually receive, but we all spent countless hours in radiology classes learning how to properly take x-rays AND diagnosing conditions based off of those x-rays. This includes an abundance of different disease processes. We are trained to recognize when something just simply isn’t right, and refer out to the proper doctor.

We all got into the profession to help people, and sometimes that means going outside of our comfort zone and referring out to other healthcare providers. This is the type of team atmosphere we need, more today than ever before!

This is from Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order on March 20th, 2020. Although this order makes it clear that Chiropractors can stay open, we will be limiting the amount of people in the office at any one time next week. Chairs in the lobby have all been spaced 6 feet apart, and we are taking extra sanitary precautions during this tough time.

We are rescheduling our “maintenance” patients to another day a few weeks out per the Illinois Chiropractic Society’s recommendations. People in acute pain are still open to come in next week unless otherwise notified.

We ask that anyone even showing the slightest of symptoms stay home, call the department of public health, and self-quarantine if directed to do so by them. Most people should be staying home during this time to avoid more exposure to themselves and others. If you are in acute pain we will be happy to treat you. I will also be limiting myself (Dr. Casey) to 3 days of appointments next week and shortened hours. If you have any questions please call us at 525-2035. Thank you, and stay safe.

Great post here. Start your healthy lifestyle TODAY! We are just as guilty as anyone else when it comes to holiday meals and treats, but a few meals over the holiday shouldn’t make or break your year! Sucked this plethora of schmutz (that’s an approved term for thrombus) out of a guy’s left anterior descending artery during a heart attack.
☝️There were definitely a few contributing factors that I conveniently identified.
