Good Morning! I am still working :) Just an update I will be changing my working hours, as earlier posted my daughter is having some health issues and will be working morning hours. I am sorry for any inconvenience, and I am still able to travel on Sat to Joplin area!! I have open appointments next week and this Sat!

I have had many of you following Kerigan Lee Boswell progress since she blew her knee out last April and her reaction to the anesthetic in surgery. We did not expect the diagnosis we received last week. Tuesday we got the MRI results, Wed talked to neuro, Thur went to eye specialist, H
e was able to confirm MRI. This is what we know: She has a tumor in the left frontal lobe, the inferior middle gyri subcort location, it is in both white and grey matter of the brain, she has had intercraneal swelling by looks of the optic nerve and her optic nerve is being compromised, it is also very close to the Broca's center. We have been told that is one of two types of tumor. Kerigan and I have decided based on which one it is to name the tumor "Ollie" or "Gill" as soon as we know we will post...The next step...The neuro, surgeon and radiologist are looking at every thing and will call once they have a plan to present, he did tell me the hardest thing to tell a parent is that we may have to wait for the second MRI to check growth (I just want it out) the first is our baseline. So our motto is with God "WE GOT THIS! We have good days in which we will run with and we will have bad days in which we will deal with. Please feel free to share the more prayers the better! We COVET your prayers, we got this!

For the ones that have been with me since I started, and to the ones just getting on board: I made an announcement earlier that I was nominated and received the honor of being apart of the MS Society Therapy Group. We will be working the MS150 this Sat 9/8 in Joplin, my "DID YOU KNOW.." will be dedicated to this challenge (I don't like to call it disease) this challenged hit too close to home in 2009 and was exasperated by stress and extreme heartache. Because of what I went through and my own rehabilitation I became a LMT, focusing on neuro muscular therapy. To my patients and friends who overcome this challenge this week is dedicated to you!!!

Something to talk about...DID YOU KNOW...Massage for Treatment of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder HELPS, 70% of the adults in the US have experienced a trauma severe enough to result in PTSD...WOW!...and those of you who have teenagers like myself I bet were not apart of that study!!!
