Dr. Covici has been in private practice in Springfield, MA since 1998 and is the only full-time Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon in Western Massachusetts. He is a fellow of the prestigious American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Covici earned his BA from The University of Pennsylvania with honors in 1989 and his MD from Northwestern University in

1993. He then completed a General Surgery Internship and Ophthalmology Residency at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago. In 1998, he completed his fellowship in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Oculofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Covici has been in private practice in Springfield, MA since 1998 and is the only full-time Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon in Western Massachusetts. Dr. Covici has authored numerous text chapters and scientific articles relating to his field.
